Job summary

Nordex North America is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the North American commissioning workforce across multiple wind farm projects. You will oversee 20+ commissioners, drive safety, staffing, and readiness, and partner with project teams to ensure execution meets quality and schedule.

The ideal candidate brings wind industry experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to develop talent, plan resources, and deliver reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of wind turbine commissioning, construction, or project execution.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing commissioning teams.
• Experience with workforce planning and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ commissioning professionals and coordinate across projects.
• Promote safety culture and ensure training and certifications compliance.
• Plan staffing, onboarding, and performance development.
• Collaborate with HR and project leaders to forecast labor needs.
• Monitor staffing utilization and implement corrective actions.
