Qualifications

• 5–8+ years welding engineering experience in production or automation.
• Develop and qualify welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and fix weld defects.
• Hands-on leadership of robotic welding teams and programs.
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 and ASME IX codes.
• US citizen or Green Card holder; Pewaukee, WI commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Robotic Welding Technicians with hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Develop and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications for new materials and joints.
• Evaluate fixtures and cell layouts with design engineers for repeatability.
• Ensure code compliance and document welding procedures and tests.
• Provide technical input on project estimates, welding feasibility and cycle times.
• Support equipment integration, robot commissioning and on-site startup.
