Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead (BCL) within its Water Business Group. The role focuses on monitoring and improving technical competencies, staff development, and execution of water resource planning that meets federal standards.

The BCL drives growth, quality culture, and staff progression while collaborating across directors and market leaders. The successful candidate will mentor teams, align initiatives with market needs, and contribute to strategic planning and staff recruitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching; serve as Quality Control lead and technical advisor.
• Lead or support standards, guidelines, tools, checklists, and workflows to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participate in tactical planning; stay aware of industry trends and lead recruitment in partnership with others.
• Work with HDR staff and clients to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; engage on pursuits as lead or team member.
