Job summary

Stantec in the Washington, D.C. area seeks a Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager focused on planning and engineering design of water/wastewater infrastructure projects. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with clients and staff to deliver innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

You will mentor staff, drive business development, manage proposals, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while advancing Stantec's mission to help communities thrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 15+ years in water/wastewater project management.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Travel to project/sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams of professionals and technicians.
• Mentor staff and build high-performing project teams.
• Develop proposals and pursue new client opportunities.
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Prepare design deliverables (BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs).
• Present to clients and regulatory agencies.
