Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager in the United States (Buffalo area). You will lead a multidisciplinary team on planning and engineering design for water and wastewater infrastructure, collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality projects.

The role emphasizes client relationships, business development, scope management, and schedule control, with opportunities to mentor staff and shape project delivery for communities in need.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years related experience in project management, preferably for water/wastewater projects.
• Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Participate in business line teams to manage and develop proposals; client facing for business development.
• Scope of work documents and estimates; collaboration across lines to develop opportunities.
• Perform complex engineering design tasks and prepare reports, calculations and drawings.
