Job summary

Inframark in Texas seeks a skilled Structurer/Estimator to join our Water & Wastewater Operations team. You will develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for a range of water and wastewater projects, detailing labor, materials, and operational costs to support bidding and project execution.

Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and vendors to refine assumptions, maintain cost data, and identify optimization opportunities. Travel 10-20% is required as part of field- and client-facing work.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in estimating or cost structuring, preferably in water and wastewater.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related cost-structure knowledge.
• Experience with estimating software (ProEst, Sage Estimating) and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop zero-based cost estimates for water and wastewater projects including labor, materials, equipment, and operating costs.
• Identify cost optimization strategies by evaluating materials, labor, and processes.
• Create structured, well-documented cost proposals to support bidding and execution.
• Review and refine estimating scope and potential challenges with project teams.
• Maintain and update cost databases and templates for pricing and cost control.
• Engage with vendors to gather cost data and negotiate pricing when needed.
