Job summary

Inframark is seeking a skilled Structurer/Estimator to join its Water & Wastewater Operations team. This mid-level role focuses on preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates for a range of projects, and supporting bids and execution with data-driven cost structures.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure estimates reflect scope, risks, and compliance while driving cost optimization and transparent proposals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in estimating, cost structuring, or related roles, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Deep understanding of water and wastewater systems, regulatory frameworks, and cost drivers.
• Experience with estimating software (ProEst, Sage Estimating) and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop zero-based cost estimates for water and wastewater projects including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Identify cost optimization strategies to reduce project costs while maintaining compliance.
• Create structured cost proposals with clear cost breakdowns, assumptions, and justifications.
• Maintain and update cost databases and templates for pricing reference.
• Engage with vendors to gather cost data and negotiate pricing as needed.
• Support budgeting and financial planning for project proposals and execution.
