Job summary

Inframark is seeking a skilled Structurer/Estimator for its Water & Wastewater Operations team. You will prepare accurate cost estimates, collaborate with project managers and engineers, and drive cost optimization across bids and project execution.

The role requires 3–5 years in estimating, strong knowledge of water/wastewater cost drivers, and proficiency with ProEst/Sage Estimating and Excel. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in estimating or cost structuring, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Strong understanding of cost drivers in water and wastewater projects.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop zero-based cost estimates for water and wastewater projects including labor, materials, equipment and operating costs.
• Identify cost optimization strategies to reduce project costs while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Analyze project specs and collaborate to identify cost-related risks and opportunities.
• Conduct market research on costs and monitor trends for pricing adjustments.
• Create structured, well-documented cost proposals for bidding and execution.
• Review processes to ensure scope accuracy and anticipate challenges.
• Maintain and update cost databases and templates for pricing reference.
• Engage with vendors to verify data and negotiate terms for competitive procurement.
• Contribute to budgeting and financial planning for proposals and execution.
