Henderson Group in Parsippany/Sparta, NJ, is seeking a Water Resources Design Engineer to anchor its technical bench in a hybrid, flexible role. You will own design work on water and wastewater facilities and lead regulatory coordination with NJDEP and EPA, bringing strong technical rigor to every project.

With 5–10 years of hands-on experience and a PE license (or near-term licensure), you’ll contribute to feasibility studies, design documentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 5-10 years of hands-on water and wastewater design experience
• PE license or near-term path to licensure (6–12 months)
• Strong knowledge of NJDEP regulations and federal standards (EPA, CWA, SDWA)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and capable technical writing

Responsabilités

• Design water and wastewater facilities, pumping stations, and distribution systems
• Conduct feasibility, hydraulic, environmental evaluations under EPA/NJDEP guidelines
• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, and contract documents
• Lead regulatory coordination for NJPDES permits and approvals
• Mentor junior engineers on design and regulatory procedures
