Job summary

Consor seeks a Senior Water Resources Leader to drive complex water resources and transportation projects from planning through construction support. You will guide drainage design, H&H modeling, floodplain studies, and PS&E packages while ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.

You will mentor staff, expand client relationships, and help grow the water resources practice, reporting to the Technical Practice Manager. This is a senior leadership role based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 15+ years of transportation engineering experience and 5+ years of project management.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams on major roadway projects.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project scopes, schedules, and fee estimates.
• Provide oversight for drainage design, H&H analysis and PS&E packages.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
• Drive business development and pursue new water resources projects.
• Monitor project financials, risks, and resource planning.
