Job summary

Consor is seeking a Drainage Engineering Designer to lead drainage design efforts for transportation projects in Texas. You will perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, develop design calculations, and prepare plans, reports, and calculations for roadway and bridge projects.

You will mentor junior designers and EITs, collaborating with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver constructible solutions while ensuring client objectives and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in civil engineering required.
Minimum 2+ years of Texas transportation drainage design experience.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

Lead drainage design plans for transportation projects including storm sewer systems and detention facilities.
Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and develop design calculations.
Coordinate with roadway, bridge, utility, and environmental teams.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers and EITs.
Support project delivery, including scope, schedule, and technical reports.
