Job summary

Consor in Austin, TX seeks a Professional Engineer to lead design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure. You will mentor engineers, support client engagement, and guide projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidate holds a PE license, 4+ years of relevant experience, and can operate in a hybrid office/field environment with software skills in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Hybrid work environment; office and field exposure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and oversee design plans, specifications, reports, calculations, and documents for water and wastewater systems.
• Apply engineering principles and regulations to deliver cost-effective, sustainable solutions.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling, capacity assessments, and system evaluations for planning and growth.
• Coordinate design efforts with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical consistency.
• Support project managers with technical leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and QA/QC across all phases.
• Prepare permitting applications and regulatory submittals with stakeholders.
