Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Technical Lead – Linear Infrastructure to lead planning, design, and delivery of storm and sanitary sewer and watermain projects in the Mid-Atlantic. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, win new business, and ensure projects meet budget and schedule with strong client relations.

The role requires 15+ years in consulting, PE licensure (or ability to obtain), and a track record of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in a consulting environment.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
• Travel to project sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of conveyance and water infrastructure projects.
• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians; mentor staff.
• Develop proposals, scope of work, and estimates; pursue new client opportunities.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure quality reviews.
• Provide leadership in project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Oversee permitting processes and regulatory interactions.
• Assist business leaders in revenue forecasting and proposal development.
• Support innovations in design and construction methods.
