Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager with strong Water/Wastewater infrastructure experience to grow our Mid-Atlantic presence. You’ll lead design, calculations, and team coordination across pumping stations, treatment plants, and networks, mentoring junior staff while shaping client relationships and project economics.

This hybrid role requires a Civil/Environmental/Mechanical background with a PE license or progress toward it and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams and external consultants and vendors.
• Provide project leadership for water/wastewater projects and mentor staff.
• Manage budgets, invoices, and forecasts; oversee contract drawings and specifications.
• Interface with clients and management on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support business development and proposal preparation.
