Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Technical Lead with a focus on water conveyance to shape municipal infrastructure across New England. You will guide planning, design and delivery of storm drain, sewer, and drinking water conveyance with a team of engineers and designers.

You will lead business development, client relations and project execution, mentoring staff and coordinating with multiple disciplines to deliver complex projects in urban environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Perform business development and pursue project opportunities.
• Develop proposals, scope of work documents, and estimates.
• Coordinate with multiple lines of business to develop opportunities.
• Manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Perform complex engineering design tasks across disciplines.
• Produce engineering drawings, reports, feasibility studies, and client presentations.
• Oversee design and construction management of projects.
• Set goals and objectives for large projects and ensure delivery on budget and schedule.
• Lead quality assurance and coordinate regulatory reviews.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders during permitting and project decisions.
• Forecast project revenue and support business leaders.
• Supervise local staff and mentor future leaders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering (environmental, civil)

Professional Engineer (PE) licensure

Project Management Professional (PMP)
