Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Project Manager / Technical Lead for Linear Infrastructure to guide the planning, design and delivery of storm and sanitary sewer conveyance and watermain projects in the Mid-Atlantic. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, grow client relationships, and drive winning proposals while working in a hybrid office/remote setup.

You will mentor staff, manage scope, schedule and budget, and collaborate with innovation teams to apply new technologies in conveyance projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil or related field).
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in a consulting environment, with conveyance and water infrastructure design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or able to obtain license within 6 months.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to other offices and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor and supervise staff to build high-performing project teams.
• Lead business development and client relationship activities to win projects.
• Develop scope, estimates, and proposals with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Perform complex engineering design tasks for wastewater projects.
• Coordinate QA/QC and regulatory reviews.
