Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Technical Lead – Linear Infrastructure to lead the planning, design, and delivery of storm and sanitary sewer conveyance and watermain distribution projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will lead a diverse team of engineers and technicians, ensuring technically rigorous solutions for our clients and communities.

The role demands strong leadership, client relations, and a track record of delivering complex conveyance projects in urban environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil or related field).
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in a consulting environment, focusing on conveyance and water infrastructure design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of storm and sanitary sewer conveyance and watermain distribution projects.
• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Develop proposals and pursue new business with clients.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and staffing.
• Mentor staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Support business development and client relationship management.
