Consor seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in California to lead design of water and wastewater facilities, guiding analyses, calculations, and construction documents. You will mentor junior engineers and drive project deliverables across multidisciplinary teams.

You will engage with clients and regulators, support proposals, and deliver high-quality, safe projects that enhance community resilience. Requires 10+ years of experience and an active California SE license; hybrid work environment

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience with water, wastewater, transportation, or public infrastructure.
• California SE license or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and project management on public-sector projects.
• Strong client relations, communication, and mentorship abilities.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with project delivery and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis of water infrastructure projects.
• Develop calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide deliverables through design phases.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical teams.
• Support client meetings, proposals, and business development.
• Provide construction-phase services including site visits and RFIs.
