Job summary

Consor is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer focused on water infrastructure to lead planning, analysis, and design of critical water and wastewater facilities. You will mentor junior engineers, manage multidisciplinary teams, and support business development.

Location flexibility includes remote, hybrid, and in-office options within California. The role requires CA PE license or ability to obtain, 10+ years of relevant experience, and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience focused on water infrastructure.
• Experience leading Water Resources and public infrastructure projects.
• Active California Structural Engineer (SE) license or ability to obtain.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subconsultants and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for water and wastewater facilities.
• Serve as technical lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Develop calculations, specifications, reports and construction documents.
• Perform condition assessments and evaluate existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical teams.
• Review and seal engineering deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Support business development through client engagement and proposals.
• Provide construction-phase services including RFIs and site visits.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops as a primary structural resource.
