Job summary

Consor is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer focused on water infrastructure in California. You will lead design and analysis of facilities such as treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs, and hydraulic structures, providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

With 10+ years of experience and a California PE license, you will mentor engineers, oversee design deliverables, and support business development while delivering high-quality projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience with water, wastewater, or public infrastructure.
• Active California PE license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on public infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Serve as technical lead on multidisciplinary projects and ensure codes and standards compliance.
• Develop structural calculations, reports, and construction documents for rehab and new facilities.
• Perform condition assessments and recommend practical solutions for deficiencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery through all design phases.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to proposals and business development.
