Job summary

Consor is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer focused on water infrastructure to lead design and analysis for treatment facilities, pump stations, reservoirs, and other hydraulic structures.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, a California SE license (or ability to obtain), and the ability to mentor junior engineers while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to deliver safe, compliant projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience with water, wastewater, or public infrastructure projects.
• California SE license required or able to obtain license within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure projects (treatment facilities, pump stations, reservoirs, tanks, and hydraulic structures).
• Serve as technical lead on multidisciplinary projects, ensuring design meets client requirements, codes, and standards.
• Develop structural calculations, specifications, reports and construction documents for rehab and expansion projects.
• Perform condition assessments and evaluate existing infrastructure to identify deficiencies and solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across all design phases.
• Participate in client meetings, proposals, and presentations as a principal structural resource.
• Provide construction-phase services including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field support.
