Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company seeks a Senior Product Service Specialist – Water Heaters to provide expert service guidance, troubleshooting, and field support for heat pump, gas, and electric water heaters.

You’ll partner with engineering, quality, product management, and service teams to resolve field issues and improve customer ownership experiences while working remotely within the US Central or Eastern Time Zone.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant field service or technical support experience.
• Experience with heat pump, gas, or electric water heaters.
• Ability to diagnose technical product issues and advise customers.
• Experience reading installation instructions, schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Experience supporting distributors, dealers, or service partners.
• Trade certification or related license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical resource for customers, distributors, dealers, and service partners on installation, operation, troubleshooting, and service questions for water heaters.
• Provide technical product support for startup and commissioning concerns, troubleshooting, and issue escalation.
• Support resolution of escalated field and customer issues through technical guidance with internal teams.
• Assist in-field investigations and root cause analysis with engineering and quality teams.
• Represent the service perspective in new product introductions and cross-functional discussions to improve serviceability and customer experience.
