Job summary

GE Appliances is seeking a Senior Product Service Specialist for Water Heaters. This remote role (US only; must reside in Central or Eastern Time Zone) supports heat pump, gas, and electric water heaters.

You will bridge field teams with engineering and product management to improve serviceability and customer experience. The role requires 5+ years in field service or technical product support, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service, technical product support, or related technical discipline.
• Experience with heat pump, gas, or electric water heaters is preferred.
• Ability to read and apply installation instructions, schematics, and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for customers, distributors, and service partners on water heater products.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance, startup support, and escalation handling.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, product management, sourcing, and service teams.
• Document issues and updates to service literature, bulletins, and guides.
• Support field investigations and root cause analysis with data-driven insights.
