Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Product Service Specialist – Water Heaters to serve as a technical resource for heat pump, gas, and electric water heaters. The role collaborates with engineering, quality, product management, and service teams to improve serviceability and customer experience.

Location: Remote – US Only; must reside in the Central or Eastern Time Zone. Travel 25–50% domestically.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical degree, trade program, certification, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Licensed Master Plumber
• Minimum 5 years of relevant field service/technical support experience.
• Experience with heat pump, gas, or electric water heaters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical resource for installation, operation, troubleshooting, and service questions for water heaters.
• Provide technical product support for startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service issue escalation.
• Support field and customer issue resolution through guidance and cross-functional coordination.
• Participate in in-field investigations and data collection for root-cause analysis.
