GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Product Service Specialist – Water Heaters to provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance for heat pump, gas, and electric water heaters. This remote US role collaborates with engineering, quality, and product teams to improve serviceability and customer ownership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or certs preferred.
• Licensed Master Plumber with relevant field experience.
• At least 5 years in field service, product support, or related technical role.
• Experience servicing heat pump, gas, or electric water heaters.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues and guide customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for customers, distributors, dealers, and service partners on installation, operation, troubleshooting, and service-related questions for water heaters.
• Provide technical product support for application questions, startup and commissioning concerns, troubleshooting, and service issue escalation.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and service teams to resolve field and customer issues and identify root causes.
• Evaluate recurring issues and recommend corrective actions, service guidance updates, or process improvements.
• Support product launches and cross-functional training to improve service readiness and customer experience.
