Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Water/Wastewater Conveyance Project Manager to lead municipal, private, state, tribal, and Federal water projects across the Northwest region, primarily in eastern Washington, eastern Oregon, and Idaho.

You will guide design, construction, and closeout, mentoring staff and delivering solutions that meet client expectations, schedule, and budget while expanding Jacobs’ regional water program.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
• PE license required; ability to obtain WA registration within one year if not licensed.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Experience in Design Management, Assistant PM, or PM leadership.
• Ability to lead design and preparation of plans, specs, reports, and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager/Design Manager for multiple water/wastewater projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in planning and design of conveyance systems.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, QA/QC, and contractual commitments.
• Oversee project financials: revenue, profitability, forecasting, risks, scope changes.
• Prepare and review plans, specifications, estimates, technical reports, and proposals.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, utilities, and stakeholders.
• Mentor project staff and develop future leaders.
• Support business development through client engagement and proposals.
