Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Water/Wastewater Conveyance Project Manager to lead multiple municipal, private, and Federal projects across the Northwest, primarily in eastern Washington, eastern Oregon, and Idaho. You’ll guide planning, design, construction, and closeout, mentoring staff and expanding Jacobs’ regional water business.

The role requires a PE license, a Civil/Environmental/Mechanical background, and 10+ years of project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Agricultural, Mechanical, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license; candidates not licensed in Washington must obtain registration within one year of hire.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, including demonstrated project management experience.
• Experience in Design Management, Assistant Project Management, and/or Project Management with responsibility for project delivery leadership and oversight.
• Ability to lead the design and preparation of plans, specifications, technical reports, and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and/or Design Manager for multiple concurrent water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in planning and design of conveyance systems (pipelines, pump stations, open channels, storage facilities).
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, QA/QC, and contractual commitments.
• Manage project financial performance including revenue, profitability, forecasting, risks, and scope changes.
• Lead the preparation and review of plans, specifications, estimates, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, permitting authorities, utilities, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor project staff and develop future technical and project leaders.
• Support business development through client engagement, pursuit strategy, proposals, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with technical and sales teams to strengthen client relationships and expand regional presence.
