Job summary

The Ojai Valley Sanitary District invites applications for a Collection System Operator II–IV to perform cleaning, maintenance, repair, and construction of wastewater collection lines, with overtime, standby duty, and some weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Education/experience sufficient for wastewater collection roles.
• Two years of experience in wastewater collection systems or related field.
• CWEA certifications required at II/III/IV levels as applicable.
• Must possess a valid Class B California Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance on wastewater collection facilities, including cleaning, repairs, and CCTV.
• Operate heavy machinery to perform line cleaning, debris removal, and related tasks.
• Prepare and maintain reports and records related to duties and activities; communicate with staff and outside entities.
