Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead and develop a diverse team of Supervisors, optimize workflows, and drive safe, efficient warehouse operations. You will partner with HR and cross-functional teams to hire, implement best practices, and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include coaching, KPI reporting, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience, required.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role, required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports by providing coaching, guidance, and support.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness.
• Compile reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Partner with HR and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process for Supervisors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and accurately.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and improve customer satisfaction.
