Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager III - Distribution in the United States to lead warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and implement strategic processes that optimize performance. You will guide a team of Operations Managers, ensure safety, and manage vendor relationships while delivering strong customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of managerial experience, WMS knowledge, and a background in 3PL/contract logistics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment
• Experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics preferred
• Staff management experience required
• P&L management preferred
• Project management preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• WMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, storing, shipping)
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff to build a strong team culture
• Ensure safety and adherence to company policies
• Utilize WMS and technology to monitor inventory and performance
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and key metrics
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction
• Own the site's P&L and align with commercial agreements
• Prepare and present MB/RQBRs to customers with the team
