Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager III - Distribution in the United States. You will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and drive strategic improvements to optimize processes, cut costs, and boost productivity while leading a management team.

You will ensure safety, use WMS/automation to monitor metrics, manage vendor relations, and present MB/R/QBRs to customers. A strong background in 5+ years of supervisory roles and 2+ years in warehousing is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Staff management is required.
• P&L management is preferred.
• Project management is preferred.
• WMS experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, minimize costs and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of managers and staff with coaching and guidance.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Utilize WMS and automation to track inventory and performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services per the agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on performance and inventory levels.
• Maintain customer relationships with daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Own the site's P&L and impact on customer relationships.
• Prepare and present MB R/QBR to customers with team collaboration.
