Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States seeks a General Manager III - Distribution to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, drive strategic process improvements, and lead a team of Operations Managers and staff toward a safe, productive environment.

This role manages P&L, builds customer relationships, analyzes performance metrics, and uses WMS/automation to reduce costs and boost throughput, with a national salary range of $95,000–$120,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Staff management experience is required.
• P&L management experience preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receiving, storage and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes and reduce costs.
• Lead and coach a team of Operations Managers and staff to build a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, productive facility.
• Utilize WMS, automation, and technology to track inventory and drive improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and site cost management under the commercial agreement.
• Prepare reports on performance, inventory levels and key metrics for decision making.
• Maintain close customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Own the site's P&L and contribute to business planning.
