Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States seeks a General Manager III - Distribution to oversee warehouse operations, lead a team of Operations Managers, and drive performance across receiving, storage, and shipping.

You will develop strategic processes, manage vendor relationships, monitor KPIs, and present MB/R QBRs with full P&L responsibility, while focusing on safety and cost control to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience required
• 2+ years in supply chain, warehousing or distribution required
• Experience in 3PL and/or contract logistics preferred
• Staff management required
• P&L management preferred
• Project management preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• WMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, productive environment
• Use WMS, automation and technology to track inventory and measure performance
• Manage vendor relationships and site costs under the commercial agreement
• Prepare reports on performance and inventory levels to drive improvements
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure satisfaction
• Own the site's P&L and present MB/ QBR reports
