Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager III to lead warehouse operations across the U.S. You will drive strategic processes, improve safety and productivity, and manage a team of Operations Managers and staff.

This role requires 5+ years in management within warehousing or 3PL, with a focus on cost control, vendor management, and customer satisfaction. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and the position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in supply chain, warehousing or distribution.
• Experience in 3PL and/or contract logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience.
• P&L management preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
• Lead and motivate Operations Managers and staff, building a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Utilize WMS, automation, and technology to track inventory and metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and metrics.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through daily contact and service excellence.
• Own the site's profit and loss (P&L) and contribute to the Monthly/Quarterly Review.
