Job summary

Roadtex Transportation seeks a Service Center Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and staff supervision across our distribution network. You will optimize storage, shipping, and order fulfillment while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This role requires strong leadership, process improvement skills, and collaboration with procurement and sales teams. The ideal candidate has a logistics or related degree or 5 years of equivalent experience, plus proven experience

Qualifications

• Degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field, or 5 years proven warehouse management experience.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Proven track record in leading a team and driving safety compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to train staff and coordinate across teams.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping.
• Develop efficient processes, optimize layout, and improve workflow.
• Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff with performance reviews.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and coordinate with procurement and sales.
• Maintain equipment and manage maintenance planning for forklifts and conveyors.
• Prepare reports on performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
