Job summary

Roadtex Transportation is seeking a Service Center Manager to lead warehouse operations, inventory control, and staff supervision. The role ensures efficient storage, receiving, shipping, and distribution while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies.

Ideal candidates have a degree in logistics or related field and at least 5 years of warehouse management experience, with proven leadership, strong communication, and a track record of process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field (preferred).
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Proven track record leading a successful team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety policies and federal, state, local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and sales.
• Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Prepare reports on performance and staff productivity.
• Identify improvements and implement best practices.
