Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, a nationwide LTL leader, seeks a Service Center Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and staff supervision across New Jersey facilities. Drive efficient storage, handling, and distribution while upholding safety and company policies.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience, at least 5 years in warehouse management, and proficiency with WMS and MS Office.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
Ensure the warehouse layout optimizes space and operational efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Coordinate with procurement and sales to manage stock and prevent shortages or excess.
Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff; schedule and supervise performance reviews.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Oversee the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and resolve discrepancies.
Oversee maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment; ensure safe operation.
Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and staff productivity.
Evaluate and implement continuous improvements to warehouse processes.
