Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead a large warehouse team and drive efficient operations across our facilities. You will coach Supervisors, implement improving workflows, and ensure safety while meeting customer expectations.

With responsibility for labor planning, KPIs, and collaboration with HR and customers, you will help sustain DHL's reputation as a global contract logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1 years logistics industry experience, required.
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports with coaching and inclusion.
• Develop and implement workloads, labor plan and standardized processes to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and foster a culture of safety.
• Compile reports on KPIs such as productivity and accuracy for informed decisions.
• Foster open communication among leadership and associates to promote teamwork.
• Partner with HR and site leadership on Supervisors hiring processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and achieve satisfaction.
