Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) to lead a diverse warehouse team, optimize workflows, and drive safe, efficient operations. You will partner with HR and site leadership on supervisor hiring and work across functions to ensure timely order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes coaching, KPI reporting, and cost control in a large, nationwide operation with extensive facilities and associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Take proactive measures to uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety.
• Compile comprehensive reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support decision-making and improvements.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Partner with HR and site leadership for a thorough hiring process of Supervisors and top talent input.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt fulfillment of customer orders.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and strive for exceptional satisfaction.
