Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager II in California to lead a diverse Supervisors team, optimize warehouse workflows, and drive safety and efficiency across operations.

You will develop labor plans, monitor KPIs, and partner with HR to hire top talent while collaborating with cross-functional teams to exceed customer expectations. This role emphasizes strong leadership and continuous improvement within a large logistics network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, providing coaching and guidance while fostering inclusion.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardised processes, and best practices to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
• Compile reports on KPIs including productivity and accuracy to support decisions and continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates for transparency and teamwork.
• Collaborate with HR and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process for Supervisors.
• Work with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and address customer concerns to drive satisfaction.
