Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Holliston, MA, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, putaway, picking, loading, and shipping operations, ensuring productivity, quality and safety. You will direct daily activities, coach staff, and maintain essential records in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role emphasizes staffing, performance management, OSHA compliance, and collaboration with the safety department to drive continuous improvement in efficiency and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3–5 years distribution center experience.
• 3–5 years warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution/distribution center.
• Experience with handheld radio frequency (RF) unit.
• Voice recognition preferred but not required.
• Powered industrial truck certification required within first 2 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure procedures, quality, and safety.
• Manage staffing, training, performance, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
• Monitor expenses and pursue efficiency improvements (e.g., overtime reduction, training impact).
• Lead safety initiatives and enforce policies, including pre-shift meetings and toolbox talks.
• Maintain reports such as productivity operations and end-of-shift walk-throughs.
