Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader in Hudson, WI to supervise a 25-person team and ensure timely distribution and receipt of products. You will drive productivity, manage budgets, and coordinate safety, quality, and inventory controls on a daily basis.

The role emphasizes floor leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing development of staff, with a focus on process improvements and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years related experience preferred.
• Experience with continuous improvement projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Manhattan) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a team of 25 warehouse associates to meet distribution and receipt targets.
• Monitor productivity standards and provide feedback; initiate corrective actions.
• Adhere to budgets and meet DC objectives while maintaining quality and inventory.
• Lead continuous improvement projects (Gemba walks, Kaizen, takt boards).
• Schedule daily workforce to stock and ship merchandise efficiently.
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment and repairs.
• Engage in employee development through training, coaching, and appraisals.
• Spend most of the day on the floor balancing administrative duties.
• Collaborate with HR daily and other cross-functional teams.
• Interview and hire for lead and associate roles.
• Maintain disciplinary processes and a productive warehouse climate.
• Prepare ad hoc reports using Excel or similar tools.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and attendance records.
• Enforce OSHA, DEA, FDA, and local regs; ensure safety.
• Assist with EHS audits and safety observations.
• Assist with QRA audits and training documentation.
