Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Hudson, WI to lead a team of 25 associates in daily distribution and receiving activities. You will drive productivity, manage staffing and scheduling, and collaborate with HR on employee development while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and Excel proficiency, with experience in ERP systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• 2-3 years related experience preferred
• Experience with continuous improvement projects and initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience leading a team
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (Pivot Tables and spreadsheets)
• Experience working within ERP’s (SAP or Manhattan) preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a team of 25 warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of products
• Monitor site productivity standards and hold associates accountable to daily, weekly, monthly metrics
• Adhere to budgetary guidelines and meet DC objectives while maintaining quality and inventory
• Lead continuous improvement projects (Gemba walks, Kaizen, takt boards)
• Schedule daily workforce to ensure proper staffing for picking, replenishing, stocking and shipping
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
• Engage in employee development, training, coaching and performance appraisals
• Balance floor work with administrative duties and collaborate with HR daily
• Interview and hire lead and associate level roles
• Maintain disciplinary processes and a productive warehouse environment
• Prepare ad hoc reports using Excel and other programs
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and scheduling
• Enforce safety rules and regulatory compliance
• Assist with EHS and QRA audits and training
