Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Vulnerability Management team. You will build and maintain systems to detect, track, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the organization.

You will drive strategy for automating and scaling vulnerability management, partnering with security engineers, product teams, and infrastructure experts to deliver high-impact security software at scale.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
• 6+ years of software engineering with security-focused work.
• Strong Python production-grade coding experience.
• Experience delivering end-to-end security projects.
• Solid understanding of vulnerability management fundamentals.
• Experience integrating security tooling into pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern software delivery.
• Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Judgment and initiative in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and scale vulnerability management tooling.
• Collaborate with security, product, and infra teams to embed security in the SDLC.
• Integrate scanners, data pipelines, and downstream systems with data ownership in mind.
• Drive remediation strategies and ensure reliable production deployments.
• Identify cross-team gaps and drive solutions to completion.
