Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Vulnerability Management team to build and maintain systems that detect, track, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the organization.

You will drive technical strategy for automating and scaling vulnerability management, partnering with security engineers, product teams, and infrastructure to tackle cross-functional challenges and raise the bar for secure software at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a security focus.
• Deep proficiency in Python for production-grade, tested code.
• Experience owning end-to-end engineering projects from design to production.
• Solid understanding of vulnerability management concepts and remediation.
• Experience integrating security tooling like scanners or SIEM.
• Comfort with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural design for vulnerability management tooling.
• Develop scalable solutions balancing maintainability with speed.
• Drive integration across scanners, pipelines, and downstream systems.
• Partner with infra, platform engineering, and product security teams.
• Identify cross-team gaps and drive remediation improvements to completion.
