Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Vulnerability Management team in Seattle. You will build and maintain systems that detect, track, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the organization, driving technical strategy for automation and scale.

You will partner with infrastructure, platform engineering, and product security to embed security in the development lifecycle and deliver high-impact engineering work at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on security.
• Deep proficiency in Python and production-grade code.
• Experience owning end-to-end engineering projects from design to deployment.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management concepts and tooling integrations.
• Comfort with CI/CD, VCS, and modern software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop vulnerability management tooling and automation.
• Collaborate with security, product, and infrastructure teams to scale security work.
• Integrate scanners, data pipelines, and downstream systems with clear data ownership.
• Drive security automation within the development lifecycle and production operations.
• Identify gaps and drive solutions with or without direct authority.
