Job summary

Salesforce in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Vulnerability Management on the Slack team. You will build and maintain systems to detect, track, and remediate vulnerabilities across our infrastructure, driving strategy to automate and scale vulnerability management at scale.

You will collaborate with security engineers, product teams, and infrastructure partners to embed security automation into the development lifecycle and raise bar for the team's software quality

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with security focus.
• Proficient in Python with production-grade code.
• Experience owning end-to-end projects from design to production.
• Experience with vulnerability tooling integrations and security automation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical architecture for vulnerability management tooling.
• Design and develop scalable engineering solutions for vulnerability automation.
• Drive integration with scanners, SIEMs, and downstream systems.
• Partner with infrastructure, platform engineering, and product security teams.
• Identify cross-team gaps and drive solutions to completion.
