Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer Microsoft SME to support the Government Services team in San Diego, with a focus on End User Core Build for NMCI environments.

The role requires SECRET clearance, DoD experience, and hands-on Windows/PowerShell automation expertise. Qualified candidates will have a DoD 8570 IAT II, ITIL V3, and 10+ years in related IT; support for Windows images, SCCM/MECM, and security baselines.

Qualifications

• SECRET clearance with DoD/DON experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or related field with 10 years of experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred.
• Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM and WSUS on Windows Server.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Knowledge of AD, Tanium, or HP Radia.
• Understanding of COTS and GOTS applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality delivery of the End User Core Build per SLAs.
• Participate in TAP and SHB processes to beta test releases.
• Maintain vendor relationships and support contracts.
• Design and manage End User Core Images for current OSes.
• Submit cybersecurity packages for monthly core image approval.
• Ensure build releases are available within one week of updates.
• Prepare and maintain 5-year Core Build Plan documentation.
• Test builds for error-free distribution and accreditation.
