Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Network Engineer to support its Government Services team. The role focuses on engineering, design, and escalations within a global network environment, with multiple customer sites including Scott AFB, IL.

The ideal candidate has security clearance, 6+ years in network engineering, and multi‑vendor experience. Responsibilities include designing complex routing/switching networks, coordinating new implementations, and guiding clients on solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years minimum experience in Network Engineering.
• Secret Security clearance.
• Associate’s degree in information technology or related field.
• Vendor Associate or higher-level network certification.
• Experience with network engineering and design.
• Experience with network operations and site integration.
• Other industry product experience and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate new implementations of the Network stack.
• Strong technical expertise in service provider and Enterprise Routing and Optical is required.
• In-depth knowledge of designing multi‑vendor complex Routing and Switching networks.
• Troubleshoot large enterprise networks.
• Explain technical concepts and provide clients guidance and vision about the solution.
• Perform market research and develop Bills of Materials for Government consumption.
