Job summary

SimVentions is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to support TTWCS, collaborating with government personnel and fellow engineers. The role emphasizes MBSE, requirements development, and updating architectures to reflect system changes.

The candidate will participate in IPTs, review interfaces, and develop CCPs, with occasional travel to NSWC Dahlgren. A US citizenship and an ACTIVE Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and eligibility for ACTIVE Secret clearance.
• Must be detail oriented and able to learn quickly.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and work on a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Determine impacts on weapon system, requirements, and design during development.
• Review and create requirements at multiple levels (SSS, SSDD, SRS, HRS) for capability and functionality.
• Develop Candidate Change Packages (CCP) and document design details in models and documents.
• Review and develop system architectures using modeling tools (e.g., MagicDraw).
• Provide human factors engineering and UI design specification support.
• Adjudicate comments for external interface documents and manage change requests (CRs).
• Provide engineering input during IPT meetings, ERBs, DRBs, CRBs, and IWG.
